Vision and Mission

  • To develop students’ reading habits and to foster a lifelong learning spirit
  • To develop a resourceful mindset and to promote self-study
  • To create a knowledge platform and cooperate with various courses to provide teachers and students with the teaching resources

Book category

  • Fiction: including fairy tales, fables, detectives, writings, translations, etc.
  • Non-fiction: including science, history, language, geography, etc.

Lunch break 13:35-13:55

Rules for Borrowing books

  1. Each student can borrow up to 5 books for 7 days each time.
  2. All books must be borrowed or returned with the computer system in the library. The procedure will be handled by the duty teacher, parent volunteer or librarian.
  3. Students who wish to renew their books can renew their loan once. The renewal procedure is the same as the borrowed book mentioned above.
  4. Students should not borrow books on behalf of others.
  5. Students should return the book according to the return date printed on the back of the book.
  6. If the book is damaged, the student must immediately notify the administrator for repair .
  7. Students should properly keep the books they borrowed and provide compensations if they are lost or damaged.
  8. Students who have taken away any items in the library without completing the borrowing procedures will be treated as theft.
  9. The lending service will be closed the week before the exam, during the exam week, and in the end of the semester.

Library activities

  1. From 4th November 2018 to 12th April, 2019, P.1 McDonald's "Yue" reading love world English reading plan.
  2. From 27th to 28th November, 2018, P.1 students’ visit to the Yuen Chau Kok Library.
  3. The “World Reading Day Creation Competition” will be closed on 10th December, 2018. The winning entries will represent the school in the Open Competition.
  4. Parents' Day Book Fair will be held on 12th January, 2019, there will be three booksellers exhibiting.
